MTV World Stage 2010 finally ended yesterday. It was a very defining moment for me.. The performers were Bunkface, Wonder Girls , Tokio Hotel and Katy Perry.
I went there with my friend, Fauzul. We were queueing up from 5.30pm..and moments later,it was raining heavily. But we still standing there becoz' there's so many people there..We got in around 6.30pm and went straight to the Surf Beach.. We went inside the X-Zone... Standing 15 metres from the stage.. We were so excited... The stage start around 7pm where Bunkface opened the stage with energetic and wonderful performance.. Crowds were singing along as well and cheers for them.
Around 8pm, Wonder Girls did their wonders by performing a wild cage performance. They later performed I Wanna and Goodnye as well as So Hot. Then, they said "Selamat malam, kami Wonder Girls" and asked the crowds to do the "Tell Me Tell Me Te-Te-Te-Te Tell Me" chants..All crowds followed them, including us.. They did Tell Me after that and I was so excited that i followed along the Tell Me dance...Later they performed their new song, 2 Different Tears and a remix as well as a rock version of Nobody.. Then, they disappeared. All the crowds were a little bit sad with the thought of Wonder Girls were done with their perfomances.. But, moments later, they came back on stage with their dress in the music video of Nobody. The crowd were following along "I want nobody, nobody but you".. Then they said goodbye as well as "Terima Kasih, Kami cinta kamu".. Tokio Hotel came on stage around half an hour later then finished at 11pm.. We waited for Katy Perry for half an hour as well around 11.30pm.. She opened her stage with California Girls and Waking Up In Vegas as well as I Kissed A Girl. She then performed for the first one of her singles for her new album titled 'Peacock'.. She closed her stage with a wonderful and exciting performance of Hot and Cold..The crowds gone wild, while Katy Perry came to crowds...Later, becoz' of the enthusiastic crowds and their appreciation for our response for them, Wonder Girls once again performed 'Nobody' specially for us. This time around, the crowds were so much excited and followed them "I want nobody, nobody but you" along with the dance...Yenny said "Kami akan merindui kamu" and later Wonder Girls told us "We'll definitely come again here for our own concert"... Can't wait for that moment to come.. Hopefully SNSD will come here as well as other groups.~
